The Journey
Growing up was not easy for our founder, Chris Akpa. Coming from a humble background, he faced the same struggles many young people in Nigeria endure — trying to stay in school, dreaming big despite limited means, and holding on to hope through hard times.
Early Life & Inspiration
As a teenager, life demanded strength beyond his years. There were days when survival meant pounding akpu by hand or breaking egusi (melon seeds) just to raise money for school. Through it all, his mother's courage and sacrifices became his greatest inspiration. She taught him that perseverance, hard work, and faith can turn even the smallest beginnings into a story of greatness.
